Hector’s House

Robert’s son, Hector Stringer, took his own life at the age of 18 on the 20 April 2011. Robert and his family set up Hector’s House in his memory as a signposting charity, with the aim of stopping suicide and the stigma around mental health issues.

Stringer Mann Chartered Financial Planners are pleased to support Hector’s House as well as the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation. The St. James's Place Charitable Foundation also has a focus on mental health and have donated to Hector’s House.

Hector's House promotes open discussions around mental health issues to end the stigma that surrounds it, to seek help and to prevent suicide. We do this by creating opportunities for people to talk openly about how they feel, by attending events and festivals, visiting schools and by promoting a healthy lifestyle. You can find out more about what we do via the website here.

We have lots of help and advice here and we would love more people to get involved with what we do. Find out how you can get involved here.
